I aim to get to know my patients on a personal level so that I can best guide them to the treatment strategy that will help them achieve their personal goals and maintain their lifestyle.

Board-certified and Fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon, Dr. Daniel Dean treats patients of all ages and offers expert orthopedic care for a wide range of conditions. He specializes in total ankle arthroplasty, sports injuries, flatfoot, complex fractures, and minimally invasive techniques in bunion correction.

A bunion is a deformity at the base of the big toe that can get progresssively painful, Minimally invasive bunion surgery can minimize your discomfort while definitively correcting the deformity, and relieving pain.

Debilitating ankle pain may result from an injury or advanced arthritis. Reconstructive surgery can help stabilize the ankle and relieve pain.

Heel pain can result from various causes such as bone spurs, bursitis, fractures, or Achilles tendon injuries. Reconstructive surgery may sometimes be necessary to get you back on your feet.

Injuries to the foot and ankle are commonly associated with sports such as football, hockey, skating and can affect both athletes and weekend athletes. We offer individualized non-operative and operative treatments to help you resume your active lifestyle.

  • Ankle instability is a chronic condition characterized by a recurrent slipping of the ankle towards the outer side usually resulting from repeated ankle sprains.

  • Foot and ankle fractures most commonly occur due to accidents or sports and exercise-related injuries.

  • Achilles tendon ruptures occur most often in athletes who participate in sports that involve running, pivoting and jumping.
