  Dr. Dean did my Total Ankle Replacement on May 31 2023 and so far I could not be happier. I had a major ankle fracture and dislocation in the fall of 2000 while playing college football. I have had numerous surgeries since the injury to try and help with pain and arthritis but nothing has helped. My next step was fusion or ankle replacement and I chose the ankle replacement after discussing the pros and cons of each with Dr. Dean.
  I was nervous being so young (45) and having a total ankle replacement but he put my nerves to rest. He explained everything in great detail. I am 7 weeks out of surgery and doing great. There was limited pain after surgery and the incision has healed nicely. Dr. Dean explains everything with great detail and makes the patient feel comfortable. I am looking forward to getting back out on the golf course. I would recommend Dr. Dean to anyone in need of a total ankle replacement. He is also a Notre Dame football fan so that helps as well.   Dr. Dean treated my significant other removing a cyst and repairing his ankle bone. We drove an hour and half to have him as our surgeon to make sure it was done right. I am a nurse and have high expectations and Dr. Dean, Alana and the entire staff are excellent. He had some insurance issues and Alana spent a lot of time to make sure we could proceed. This office is great.
