Daniel Sloan's Story
I had been dealing with a foot injury for almost a year. I had already been to two doctors and it wasn't improving. I was given a referral for Dr. Dean. From the first consultation through post surgery now almost a week, he has been incredible and probably saved my foot. I am a type one diabetic. I had a lisfranc injury that turned into charcot foot. The bones in my foot were basically collapsing and if I did not get it fixed I would eventually lose my foot. Dr. Dean walked me through everything. What tests needed to be completed, how he would save my foot, what the post surgery would look like and what my foot would be moving forward. So far, everything has been great. As I stated, surgery was about a week ago and I'm on the road to recovery. I still have a long way but I have a solid plan in place. I see Dr. Dean in about a week and a half and will have my cast put on assuming that all looks good with my foot. During the surgery day he was very calm, knowing that I was nervous, and when he was done he spoke to my wife and let her know everything that had happened and what the next steps were. I'm far from done healing and there are still some obstacles to get past but I feel more confident than ever that I will get past those with Dr. Dean helping me. I would recommend him on every level.

Dr. Dean treated my significant other removing a cyst and repairing his ankle bone. We drove an hour and half to have him as our surgeon to make sure it was done right. I am a nurse and have high expectations and Dr. Dean, Alana and the entire staff are excellent. He had some insurance issues and Alana spent a lot of time to make sure we could proceed. This office is great.
